铜死亡(Cuproptosis

铜死亡是一种新型程序性细胞死亡,由铜与三羧酸循环的硫酰化组分直接结合诱导发生,导致硫酰化蛋白的聚集和铁硫簇蛋白的损失,从而诱导蛋白毒性应激并最终导致细胞死亡(图1)。

Cuproptosis is a novel form of programmed cell death that occurs by the direct binding of copper to lipoylated components involved in the tricarboxylic acid cycle, which leads to the aggregation of lipoylated proteins and loss of iron-sulfur cluster proteins to induce proteotoxic stress and ultimately cell death (Fig.1).
